The recently released Fujian Province First (Set) of Major Technological Equipment Catalog has officially included Jialong Technology's innovation - marking a provincial-level endorsement of its breakthrough engineering.
First (Set) of Major Technological Equipment refers to innovative equipment products that achieve significant breakthroughs in specifications or technical parameters, possess independent intellectual property rights, and are in the initial market promotion phase. This includes complete sets of equipment, whole machines, core components, control systems, base materials, and software systems, categorized as either national first (set) or provincial first (set).

Zhangzhou Jialong Technology Co., Ltd., a National-Level "Little Giant" Specialist Enterprise and Fujian Manufacturing Champion, leads the rice packaging equipment sector. Its 2024 flagship innovation—the "Fully Automatic Six-Side Double-Bagging Machine"—epitomizes cutting-edge engineering.
Upon entering the workshop, technicians are seen conducting final calibrations on the equipment, preparing for customer delivery within days. On the fully automated production line:
1️⃣ Primary Packaging: Rice is vacuum-sealed into compact "bricks"
2️⃣ Secondary Bagging: Conveyor transfers bricks to the double-bagging unit
3️⃣ Final Boxing: Robots place finished packages into cartons

The rice commonly found in supermarkets typically features dual-layer packaging: an inner vacuum-sealed "brick" and an outer branded decorative bag. This double-bagging method, combining hygiene with aesthetic appeal, has become the mainstream packaging solution for rice products. However, in traditional production processes, the secondary bagging operation has long relied on manual labor.
"Through independent R&D, we've developed secondary bagging equipment fully compatible with traditional packaging lines, achieving fully automated production from primary to secondary bagging. This innovation has doubled our production line efficiency from 500 bags/hour to over 1,000 bags/hour, increased the bagging qualification rate by 2 percentage points, while reducing manual intervention by 90%," said Lu Yuanji, Senior Engineer at Jialong Technology.
First of its kind is the core essence of the first (set) of major technical equipment. Fujian Province, the first (set) of major technical equipment recognized management approach (hereinafter referred to as “approach”), it is clear that the declared products apply new technology principles, new design concepts, in the structure, process and other aspects of the original product to take the lead in fundamental improvements, the product's main technical performance indicators to achieve a major breakthrough. In addition, the declaring unit masters the core technology and key process of equipment production, and possesses core technology and independent intellectual property rights through technological innovation activities.
The Measures specify the following financial incentives for certified equipment: single equipment belonging to the domestic first (set) by not more than 60% of the market unit sales price, the maximum amount of subsidies not exceeding 2 million yuan to give subsidies, belonging to the province's first (set) by not more than 30% of the market unit sales price, the maximum amount of subsidies not exceeding 1 million yuan to give subsidies.
Zhangzhou City Bureau of Industry and Information Technology equipment section responsible person said that the future will focus on promoting the first (sets) equipment in the R & D side and the application side of the two ends of the synergistic development of the market demand to drive equipment research and development, demonstration and application to promote technological innovation to promote innovation and upgrading of the development of major technology and equipment to give rise to a new quality of productivity.
